Have not had any decent rain here for ages. We had some rain on 19th August and nothing to speak of since. I know some places have had a fair bit especially in the North. The ground around here is so dry even after the drenching we all had in July.
When did you last have any rain?

Around Londo I don't think we've had any rain since before bank holiday. We were promised some Sunday evening, but nothing. My pond desperately wants some steady rain! |

Had a very light shower yesterday in Lincolnshire but you wouldn't have got wet if you were stood out in it. Apart from that we have had nothing that I can recall for weeks. Grass has gone brown and stopped growing.

Thought we would get a little rain last night but no..Very early this morning the was a little drizzle but not enough to keep the wipers going on the car..We do need some the ground is so dry ..thats why the fungi that should be appearing in some areas is a little late...

Nothing to speak of around Nottingham and long may it continue, although I doubt it looking at the forecast. I've got three days where I could go out all day, a rare event, and it's forecast to be bad on them all, so it's my fault when it rains! |

Well its been cloudy and dull here allday, with some slight rain this evening. So slight that if you moved fast enough you could avoid the rain drops.

Heavy rain last night, first time for ages. Just drove over the mountains to get home from work and was very stormy indeed; howling wind, leaves everywhere and belting rain. Quite spooky really
