First day of Spring

Hi folks
Correct me if I am wrong but today 20th March is officially the first day of Spring. Sure doesn't feel like it where I live, North East Lincolnshire. It's cloudy with an east to north east wind blowing and the temperature is around 6 degrees C. Brrr!!

What's it like where anyone else is.

Ollie

Yes I admit it it's all my fault.. How do you think I feel, all that equipment going out of date before I've had chance to use it.

Oi, stop it now! I've just got my KM5D and not seen the sun since - do you want us to enter a new ice age?

Might be better than Global Warming. I reckon that is why we're having all this dull cloudy weather. An Ice Age should bring clear skies so that any heat goes straight into the atmosphere.

It will be fine when they arrive don't worry. You should know I always get blue skies when I am reviewing cameras.

And as you're barely a county away from me, should be able to spare me a drop of sunshine

Re: First day of Spring

Will you all stop buying new cameras please then we may get some decent weather. Besides, you are making me jealous of all that new equipment.

At this rate, by the time we get the sun your camera will have depreciated to zero.

A bit grey today but warmer than it has been.Yesterday there were bright blue skies all day and I spent 3 hours walking along the Otter Estuary Nature Reserve which is Site of Special Scientific Interest in Devon. It was beautiful.Unfortunately the tide was out too far to get any close ups of the birds but I did see a little egret and some wigeons also shelduck and Mallard. You will see by my blackheaded gull pictures I have just put up how lovely the day was.
