look at riding clothes like Robinson's or ridaway (both on the web) for waterproofs I think they are cheaper than out door type camping shops. You will need a canoe soon.

Re: Not again?

They said some places were likely to get 4 inches of rain today...... 4 INCHES!!!! Not many moons ago we'd all be gasping with shock if they announced over an inch of rain.

Eeeeee, what's the world coming to..... shuffles off muttering to herself...... mumble mumble.

Re: Not again?

When I was a lad I used to live in a pothole on the M6 and when I woke up I used to lick the motorway clean and when my dad got home he would cut my head of....

You have to laugh or you'll cry.

But please... STOP THE WORLD I WANT TO GET OFF!

Re: Not again?

I'm getting sick of this weather If it can just be nice for the last 2 weeks of August (or at least 1 of them..) I'll be happy as that's when I'm on holiday Still, should count myself lucky it isn't flooded here. (Famous last words... I hope not!)

Re: Not again?

I wish you lot would stop moaning about the weather, try living north of the border, 4 inches of rain, that's a mornings worth to us

Going back to the recent floods, on the big flood Friday, Brize Norton had 127mm of rain, if that had fallen as snow we would have had over four foot, and thats with out any drifting. How many problems would have that caused.
