| | | Post Code Weather Forecasts I don't know whether this weather site has been mentioned on WAB before but I think it is the best as you type in your postcode and can get details for hour-by-hour or anything up to 10 days hence. Give it a try and see what you think weather.co.uk - Index |

| | | Re: Post Code Weather Forecasts Looks good. The Met Office and BBC Weather website offer postcode searches but these are only for 5 days. Trouble is with a 10 day forecast things tend to change so what it predicts for 7-10 days time will probably not be totally accurate come the day.

| | | Re: Post Code Weather Forecasts Yes, that looks interesting - certainly more detailed than the BBC one which is so vague as to be useless. The one I use is Metcheck.com - Global Weather Forecasts - [Updated on 30 June 2007 at 20:00] - Weather Feeds - Live Data - Long Range Weather Forecasts which has always been fairly reliable and does give you projections for a few hours at a time - good indiactions as to whether you should go out in the morning or afternoon! And it isn't plagued with adverts and has lots of background meteorology stuff for those who are interested ...

| | | Re: Post Code Weather Forecasts Hey, that looks really useful and will enable trip planning with some degree of certainty as to what the weather is going to be doing.
Thank you for posting .... I have saved for future reference.
By the way, it is going to rain for 4 days over me . I wish I hadn't looked after all.

| | | Re: Post Code Weather Forecasts The BBC weather site BBC - Weather Centre - World Weather as mentioned earlier by agc is a site worth following.
If you select 'Coast and sea', then 'Atlantic pressure chart', you can see the position of the various pressure areas and step through the next 4 days. Just lately it's been pretty depressing as low after low headed towards us!
If you follow the charts on a regular basis, you'll see how the forecast changes several times a day. The weather is a 'chaotic system' and hard to predict in advance. I was once told that the Met Office can predict it with their computers, to an 80% accuracy. But, if you say 'The weather tomorrow, will be the same as today', you will be correct 60% of the time!
