I used to live near the top of a very tall building with great views and spent hours watching the storms crossing the city, especially at night.
It used to be fun to sit the camera on a tripod with the shutter open and let the storms and city lights create their own pictures. Most didn't work but others made quite interesting pictures. |

I've always loved storms (actually I just love the sky!)
I was working in Leeds last year during the violent storm that included a tornado. I was in a small shop behind a church that was covered in scaffolding, it got hit, twice in a minute. It was so loud and bright, I was running round screeching but it was great! I was just excited. |
