A certain lovely person mananged to order me flowers from the depths of Helmand so I was happier than I expected to be....... Perhaps not the 'greenest' bunch possible, but in this case very much it was the thought that counted with me.... no one's ever sent me flowers before!!!

i woner how much that cost him

I sent a certain young lady a big (as in about four dozen) bunch of roses and it cost me 70 notes plus delivery - total flipping rip of - but worth ten times that to make her happy

I think actually Tescos offered a special deal to all the fellas (and ladies) out there for valentines flowers which ok make more profit for Tescos but I still think that was a lovely gesture, those fellas (and ladies) are so far away from their loved ones........
