We're having a bit of the old wet stuff here. Bit late for April showers but I can hear the plants saying thank you! We do need it, after seeing the chalkland plants at Queendown Warren yesterday all ready to bloom but no water to help them.

It is raining here too at last.  You can almost hear the ground and plants slurping it up.
I can't wait to see what happens after a few days of rain and reasonable warmth. I am expecting all the plants to grow away like mad and all the seeds I planted ages ago to germinate. My garden will take on jungle proportions!  |

March winds have finally turned up too. There's oak leaves all over my garden. I kept meaning to photograph the chestnuts in flower - too late now!

The forecast for local cricket tomorrow is looking risky and Sunday will be a washout.

Total wash out in Kent to. Almost none stop rain all weekend, Today showers , strong winds and freezing cold..... ( Typical Bank holiday weather ) So no gardening done again
