I'm not sure if there is a seperate section for wildlife programmes, I couldn't find one 
Anyway, did anyone see this last night? It is probably a repeat as most of them tend to be on Blighty, but I'd never seen it before .. really interesting, and got a double helping too, with two half hour episodes  |

A great series - highly recommended! I recorded them all a year or two ago and it's about time I watched them again. Thanks for the reminder.

I lose track with all these types of programmes being repeated .. for some reason I never see them initially, then just keep picking up odd ones here and there, and then get mixed up with which ones I've seen and which ones I haven't
Anyway, one thing I really liked on last night's prog was where they were making wildlife 'platforms' to float along one of the little tributories going into the Thames (forget where it was now?), they looked really good dotted all along the waterway, with wild plants in the middle and then round the outside platforms for ducks, etc, to sit. Apparently the local residents had got a bit fed up with the ducks sitting in the planters outside their flats overlooking the river, so these floating platforms seem to have done the trick   |

Great series. Funnily enough I listening to the presenter talk to a great chap called Jeremy Biggs who is head of Pond conservation, about New forest ponds.
