Next episode on 15th February 8:00 Wednesday evening on BBC2 deals with urban gardens and well chosen planting to embrace flowers rich in pollen and nectar.

Hi Art, hoping to catch up one this tomorrow. Why are there so many great programmes on at the moment, they could have spread them out abit  I`m not moaning though

Tonights was a goodie - amazing to see the difference in bees, hoverflies etc on the plants specially grown to provide nectar and the traditionally planted beds which didn't even attract the odd fly. I thought the nectar rich ones looked more attractive too.

Have my episode 2 recorded. So will catch up soon.To much footie on.Last episode next week is named Cities.Probably parks and other mown places where wildflowers Should be grown.

Saw the 1st one on Iplayer - very good and anything what promotes helping the bugs and beasties will do for me. Here's to all doing a bit more. Just starting on a nettle patch this year - gotta squeeze it in.
