| | | Nature's Weirdest Events BBC2 now. Amazing footage of the Sydney dust storms. Rather hideous Isopod fish parasites in London and Yponomeuta caterpillar coccons in Rotterdam. Good stuff.
Cheers,

| | | Re: Nature's Weirdest Events Was very interesting. I think I like the car covered by the Ermine Moth caterpillar silk best.

| | | Re: Nature's Weirdest Events Very interesting programme, I'm looking forward to this evening's one. I'd hate to be a farmer in Australia, if it isn't plagues of Locusts, it's millions of Mice.

| | | Re: Nature's Weirdest Events Very entertaining and interesting indeed. Always hate seeing beached whales, never knew it happened in such numbers. Part two reminder is set!
I think the mice, locusts, fish parasite and giant 'woodlouse' gave the wife nightmares!

Nige | What a terrible programme!
Yes, the subjects were interesting but most of the clips had been seen on BBC news in the not too distant past. Shame on the BBC for producing a cheapo programme consisting of recycled news articles from other news organisations and getting Packham to parrot out a terrible script. |

Showing repeats of clips for me doesn't make it terrible for me, especially if I've not seen them myself before

| | | Re: Nature's Weirdest Events I enjoyed it and the theories behind the events, although I admit it was made up of archive footage from other programs. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
