| | | Springwatch 2011 After a bit of research I've discovered there is a Springwatch special on Good Friday (22nd April) at 9 pm, also the series proper should start on the Whitsun bank holiday (if it still exists given royal wedding shenanigans) or thereabouts, and last for three weeks.
Bring it on!

| | | Re: Springwatch 2011 I really enjoyed the Springwatch Easter Special last night!
Just enough to whet the appetite for the series proper in May.
Mind you, the way in which Mother Nature is working her magic atm, it will be more like Summerwatch by then!
It was great to see Bill Oddie back on our screens!
He did somewhat more muted in character than he used to be though!
Nice to see Mr Packham has finally sent his beloved zip-up brown cardi to the cleaners! It seemed to have become like a security blanket!
Anyway, roll on May, can't wait!

I know I really enjoyed it couldn't believe it when they said it was FIVE weeks until the series starts!! That summer surely by anyone's standards?!
Roll on anyway - I could watch that sort of thing all year round.

And trust it to be a year when everything is suddenly early and bursting out cos of the heat and dry weather ......... I can also enjoy this sort of prog anytime about almost anything - tho I may miss it all this time by being outside doing my own watching ...... hopefully!!! |

| | | Re: Springwatch 2011 This year they're doing urban foxes again, although this time looking at a family living on a refuse tip. It should air in the final week of the series and I'm hoping it'll be good.
Cheers,
