Yes Nige, thanks for that. I find the iplayer timeframe is often a little short, so I use a PVR to keep stuff to a time when there is nothing much to watch (usually a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday), then it gets a second airing and very often the mind has picked throught the information and you have found some more stuff to make it more interesting.

Having said that, I just looked at my iplayer stuff that is downloaded, and some bits on there seem to have been there for a month or more.

I thought the "age of Bronze" was very interesting in that it conveyed the difficulty of the smelting of metals very clearly, especially doing it the first times.

I still haven't watched any of the Human Planet series yet, but they've been downloaded for ages and stil have a month or so left
