New series starting tonight, on BBC 2 at 9pm.
Anyone watching it.....apart from me?? It's had some good write ups and I'm quite looking forward to it! 
I was impressed with both 'Tribe' & 'Amazon' , so I'm hoping this series lives up to my expectations.

I thought it was a good opening episode last night, although I'm looking forward to next week, when Bruce heads further into the Arctic circle. The scenery looks amazing, for a start!

I've just finished watching the first episode on playback.
A programme of total peace, tranquility & enlightenment!
To be given an insight into a completely different way of life, customs, rituals etc was just incredible.
I now feel strangely calm & at ease! (Weird)

I felt very sorry, but full of admiration, for Yegor after watching it. It was a very calming programme. Have always liked Bruce Parry's programmes. He treats the peoples he meets with the greatest of respect and joins in with all aspects of their lives regardless of the consequences to himself.

I have to say, I've never paid Bruce Parry's programmes much attention before and it was only the fact that it was 'the Arctic' that drew me (I'm not a fan of rainforest/jungle programmes, I find them a bit claustrophobic). I have to say though, I loved it! Bruce was a tremendous presenter and I thought the way he interacted with everyone was really genuine and decent. The landscape surrounding the reindeer encampment was pretty great too.
