Halcyon River Diaries Christmas episode

Happy Christmas everyone!

I was flicking through the Radio Times and there is a one off episode of Halycon River Diaries on Monday 27th December at 18:10 on BBC1 (17:40 in Scotland) -

Yeh I saw this, didn't think about putting it up, good one, well recomended, shame it's not the whole series.

I`ve been catching up with this on i player, all episodes are on there. It`s great, I`ll look forward to the Mon screening

Ah great didn't think of this, thanks. I'll wait til those rainy dull days to come and get watching it. This will help keep those winter blues away

I've never caught any of these before.
Are they worth a watch?
Don't know if I'll be back in time to watch tonight's special.
Will get it on catchup TV if not.

Hi Cordaline definitly worth it, I found some episodes better than others (a bit like Spring/Autumn Watch) but overall I really enjoyed the whole series. The kids tended to wind me up for some reason, can't quite say why

Yes brill I didn't realise it was an update from the series shown earlier this year and even the kids where ok

Amazing the Kingfisher slow mo video, wing and beak open when entering the water. As for the mink? I wouldn't have set a trap in the first place as I wouldn't have put myself in that position. As for CHJ filming it and then shooting it, I find quite hard to understand, be easier one or the other

But yes very good, loved the series in summer and enjoyed this tonight.
