Saw this series advertised on RadioTimes website. I'm not sure whether it is a new series or a repeat but it sounds interesting anyway.

Think it was made about 2007. It's great though, as it celebrates the work of the amateur naturalist, many whom beaver away in the background of their chosen subject in natural history and make a huge contribution to our understanding of it.
I personally know some that have made new discoveries to science and yet we never hear about their achievements.
We only tend to hear about those on TV, some of which aren't naturalists first and foremost.
