| | | Michael Wood's Story of England I just saw the first episode of this on iPlayer (I am off work with a nasty bug) and while it's not wildlife-oriented, it has a lot about the history of the English landscape which some of you might be interested in. |

| | | Re: Michael Wood's Story of England Thanks Spiky, I'm as interested in the history as the natural history. Thanks for the heads up.

| | | Re: Michael Wood's Story of England Yes I saw that too, on iplayer and have noted the next episode. Fascinating that many of the people still in the town, may be descendants of the Celtic, Roman, Saxon or Vikings who once lived there. I could watch his programs for hours |

| | | Re: Michael Wood's Story of England Is he still going? Michael Wood was my first crush when he did a series on the Dark Ages when I was about 9 years old! I always did have strange taste. lol.
It sounds like a programme which is right up my street so I'll try and catch it.
Thanks, |

| | | Re: Michael Wood's Story of England I've been watching this series (I love any history or archaeology programme) and thinks it's very good. A very interesting idea to trace our history through one particular spot in the country. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
