Wednesday the 13th of January on BBC2 at 8pm a programme from the Spring/Autumnwatch team about how wildlife survives and adapts in the "Big Freeze", and how we can help.
Doesn't say how long the programme will be, but should be interesting. |

Should be an interesting programme. Gordon Buchana Tweeted today "On Mull for 'Snow Watch'. Drove via Rannoch moor stopped to film some deer, it was -16. Saw the weirdest ribbons of frozen fog too!" So its being filmed now  |

on tonight at 8pm, for one hour. apparently they were plugging it on a feature they did on radio 4 this morning, which was all about the cold weather and our wildlife. i'll be tuning in for sure! |

I really enjoyed the programme tonight. Very informative and as always some lovey short films, and they had water voles

I thought that was well worth a watch. Interesting bit about ducks feet - that hadn't occurred to me to wonder about before! (Why they don't get stuck on ice, or suffer from the cold)
