Did anyone catch this series?

I don't have the right channel but wish I had having seen a few videos on youtube - especially this awesome clip of Shaun teaching a wolf cub to howl - ace and very cute

Absolutely brilliant! We had a Beagle dog when I was in my teens and he would howl at a variety of things - music (I always pressumed he didn't like it but maybe he howled cos he did like it - we'll never know!)(I had a cat in more recent years that used to 'yowl' when I played the recorder - I didn't think I played that badly!!) The Beagle tho could be hilarious with it ...... we were going on holiday to North Wales - me, mum and the dog on the train and bus and dad on his scooter. Dad met us at the station (prob Deganwy) and saw us onto the right bus and watched the bus leave - following us out onto the big A road - then he made the mistake of overtaking the bus ..... We were sat on the front seat upstairs and the dog saw and heard him go past .... up went the nose and kept it up until we got off 40 mins later - no amount of shushing of grabbing his nose stopped him ....... the welsh folk on the bus were in tucks - they thought it was hilarious - I was about 14 and deeply embarrased as only a 14 year old can be ....... I must admit in hindsight it was very funny. The thing that always amused me was the little furry v-shape hole his mouth turned into when he howled - I can see it now all these years later

Hey Pauline

That's a hilarious story - I love beagles, really charismatic dogs, if a little stubborn!

It's true about being mortified about most things as a teenager - I find now I'm past caring and probably all the more embarrassing to be with for it, haha.

Re: the above video - if you play it around dogs they tend to go a little barmy (and apparently my friends 1 year old was trying to imitate it!)

I just played the video. My chihuahua who sleeps with his muzzle on the laptop didnt even open his eyes... guess he thinks why howl when someone else can do it for him

Right clever these little chihuahuas - theres a lot goes on in that little head and none of it is wasteful or stupid ............... (Not like those daft beagles - bless!)
