Just a quick reminder about tonight's programme, BBC 2 8.00pm, which focuses on the lives of Japanese Macaque monkeys and their struggle to survive in a harsh mountain environment.

Doesn't show as a repeat.

I am watching as I type and I have seen a similar programme. Don't know about the struggle part though. One of the monkey troops sits in hot springs being fed by tourists during winter.

They have really been messing with the airing times of Natural World this year (and the repeat days and times...it flits from saturday nights, saturday afternoons and sundays)

I therefore got confused and missed the Cassowarie one last night (thursday) which does not appear to be scheduled a repeat =( but i DID catch tonights one (yep two nights in a row natural world?) on the farm/permaculture/fossil fuel debate and i have to say it was awesome!...

Really good to see these points going out on mainstream tv and the food/farming debate aside it showed off our native wildlife beautifully, if it turns one person onto british wildlife then its done its job for me! but the topic in question is more so important and was put accross very well i feel

(p.s...i know there is like a 1am or 3am repeat of cassowaries but it has that irritating sign language woman in the corner which drives me insane)

I watched the one about farms yesterday. Now one of my dreams is to own a forest farm and plants loads of vegetables and herbs and flowers underneath the trees (very dispersed trees so there's light), I would let the fruit bearing plants and the flowers just take over so much that I let the deer move in to cut it down a little. I would like my farm joining the border of the new forest and it would be like a little extension .

Oh thats great news! I thought it odd as their normal pattern of prog/repeat has been somewhat shuffled about, thanks for the tip off. Going by your post and your username are you anything to do with the program i wonder?
