Well, I'm suprised no one else has put up a poll... so I thought I would

Tried to capture all the prospective candidates I've seen in the various threads, but if yours is not here then.... umm tough!

You never know, the BBC might just pop in and take a bit of notice of their license payers for once.. (yeah right

Gosh - I never thought it would be soooo difficult. Not being a Bill Oddie fan, I used to think a trained chimp would do better. But when I imagine all of the people suggested, I'm imagining problems with all of them.

I really like Ellie. She has a great sense of humour and is really "approachable" and down-to-earth. And her enthusiasm is next to none.

But I will consider this some more before I decide - you never know, the BBC might actually read this poll.

Richard - I've seen Stu perform the miracle of adding a new category.

I wouldn't worry too much It may well be only me who'd vote for someone new!! in the absence of this I shall vote for a WAB member as there is a strong chance that anyone new would at least be a member of WAB

Although i see the humour im surprised over 16% have wasted their chance to vote by going for 'mystery WAB'er'...i mean come on? as if thats going to happen?

I went for Packham but would be just as happy with Rory McGrath or Nick Baker, the 'obvious' King and Buchanan need to be out in the field. I would LOVE it to be Ellie but cant see they would have two girls? ( i would though)

Given TVs current love affair with reality shows maybe the BBC will run a sort of X Factor/Dancing on Ice/ Big brother show to select the new candidate.

I have voted in the end for Chris Packham after much thinking of who could do it possibly. But my own opinion is There's only 1 Bill Oddie & it is he who should be presenting the series. Bill if your reading this, the programme belongs to you Kate & Simon!!!!
