I hadn't heard until I read this thread. It's so sad. I used to love watching him and learning from him when I was younger. I once had a picture shown in 'The Gallery' and I was over the moon! I always thought it was THE best programme on TV when I was a child.

A very sad day.

Correct Duke, though I remember him as a later development, like Chas. When Morph first appeared in the late 1970s I thought he was splendid.

Sad news.....he always seemed to be a proper gentleman and a wonderful ambassador for all types of art.

I was very sad to hear of his passing, I remember his programs fondly. He made a huge and very valuable contribution to children's entertainment and must have inspired thousands of children to be artistic and creative.

I only hope he knew all this, all that he inspired and how much he was loved.

This news saddened me greatly, I always had to find time to watch his programmes. He influenced me and I have alot to thank him for, So thankyou Mr Hart, you will be missed.
