| | | Britannia, with Nicholas Crane Is anyone watching Britannia with Nicholas Crane on Tuesday nights at 9? Last night he was travelling up through Scotland and showed him wild camping in the Cairngorms. Last night's and the first episode were quality telly. I love all Nick Crane's stuff on the ol' cyclops.

| | | Re: Britannia, with Nicholas Crane Yes, I've been watching it too - sadly I think next week's is the third and final part. I like all of Nick Crane's programmes (especially MapMan). I've just started reading the book of his last series Great British Journeys, which my youngest brother gave me for Christmas. |

I remember at the time wondering why it deserved such a special name. If he in fact camped there, it was an odd choice and I can think of far better places on the Braeriach plateau - the 'Wells of Dee' for one.
I wouldn't have liked to ford the Tay as he did - but then he was obviously accompanied by a boat with the production crew!

You are right about his presenting style though. I'm wondering if a modern print is available of this book Britannia?

Dear Jim
The program has been deleted from the iPlayer, and uknova.com is not accepting new registrations. If you have the torrent file, can you send me a copy, please? I'd be very grateful. Thanks. Quote:
