| | | Re: how clever are pigs? The star of the show a sixteen year old pig was like a dog but they also did other research and a pig of six weeks old learnt tricks that a child of several months took much longer to learn

| | | Re: how clever are pigs? When I worked on an experimental farm, we used to threaten to chuck all the data in the pigs, so they could do the stats.
That is the truth, we also hoped they would be able to repair the Allen Scythes. |

| | | Re: how clever are pigs? To be honest i am not surprised TBB because dogs are so intelligent and i have read pigs are similar.
Actually, even though we are talking pigs.I think in general, we underestimate animals intelligence in general, don't you think ? |

| | | Re: how clever are pigs? definitely! the pigs on here were very intelligent and I know my poodle is too and the horse when i used to ride.
what I meant to say was that the pig seemed like a dog the tricks it could perform and you could see it thinking when they introduced a knew trick, as old as it was. It picked up what it had to do after two attempts.
The show it does was amazing the kids loved it very american though so a very gushy pig tamer/trainer
