| | | Re: Natures top 40 bbc2 I've caught up at last and watched the final two episodes last night. I'm very happy with gannets at number 1, I though they were... (all together now)... "SUPERB!"
In fact, I'm going to do my level best to see that spectacle for real in 2009. Hopefully I will make it to the Farne Islands in the breeding season. I've only ever been there in August which was nice but not the same as all most of the gannets and puffins have left by then. If not the Farnes then at least Bempton Cliffs where you're not reliant on good weather to get to the site.

If anyone has been reading the Donna Nook thread ( Donna Nook access !) you'll know that I went there last week and had a whale of a time. So it was great to see Chris Packham doing his piece to camera in the final part from the middle of the seals at Donna Nook.

| | | Re: Natures top 40 bbc2 Hi Folks,
I too missed what looked like a great series (from the snippets on the BBC site that I can see anyway).
Myself and family were at Chanonry Point, Moray Firth in 2007, the weekend that they filmed there for the Dolphins and we were so looking forward to seeing the footage and maybe even see the kids in some shots (they were interviewed by Chris).
So Imagine my despair when nothing appeared on the BBC until Dec 2008 at 2.30pm.... which I just found out about tonight while doing a bit of random surfing.
Any further info on future screenings of this series would be well received in our household.
