Hope Ben makes a full recovery soon. It does make us aware of how lucky we are in this country, with all it's faults. We haven't got any super-nasties to look out for in the way of tropical diseases and we are in the possession of medicine to hand.

Yup, having recently spent a week in a hospital in Nigeria it certainly made me aware of just how lucky we are that we are not to be subjected to these nasties on a daily basis.
I hope Ben gets well soon. I rate him as a presenter as well as a person

I wish him a speedy recovery too. I really like Ben Fogle and enjoy watching his programmes.
I do wonder if he has a bit of a death wish though, he always seems to have to push himself to do something extreme. I read an article written by his wife once where she said that he always promises not to go off on another adventure because she is left at home worried sick about him and wondering if she will ever see him alive again ... and then he is filled with boyish enthusiasm for his next venture and off he goes again!   |

I've always liked Ben and his easy manner of presenting so I'm gutted to hear such bad news. My thoughts are with him and his family, I hope he gets through this. |

I've always liked Ben Fogle since seeing him on Castaway 2000, and enjoyed his Extreme dreams series. I hope he makes a full and speedy recovery. | | | |
