there are some strange practices out there in the name of wildlife/entertainment - but lots of kids like these programmes too - and I can vouch for the effect they have on them. The likes of Chris Packham, Bill Oddie, Ray Mears usually (I think/hope) extols the wildlife virtues that most people on this site find right - and this beneficial influence passes down to the kids, they can even tell me what flora is and isnt sweet tasting in the field plus are careful not to harm the environment, plants, habitats etc. That bear faced chap  seems to just cause a lot of giggly laughter at his ridiculous and pointless antics whilst killing animals.Kids aint daft.
