| | | Wild About Your Garden Wild About Your Garden is a new BBC1 wildife and gardening series with Nick Knowles, Ellie Harrison and Chris Beardshaw that's due to air this November
Each week the team will visit a town or city in Britain where they'll spend four days transforming back gardens from animal no–go areas into havens for wildlife and humans alike.
The team will get rid of concrete paths and patios, cover patchy lawns with luscious planting and redesign gardens to bring the nation's endangered animals back into our cities.
Each show will also give practical tips for viewers on how to make their garden more wildlife friendly.
Good name for a TV programme guys. Wonder where they got the idea from
Stu

| | | Re: Wild About Your Garden Hee hee! My son Tom just suggested that they should take the earwigs away for the weekend on a pretext, then bring them back blindfolded. When the blindfolds come off the earwigs go "Oh my god, I love it! The colour, the space, it's fantastic!"
Sorry, we're not taking this seriously, are we? In spite of these silly comments anything that encourages people to think about wildlife in their garden gets two thumbs up from me (and another two from Tom).

| | | Re: Wild About Your Garden Sounds like an excelent programme. The removal of decking and patios might even reduce the risk of flooding as well.
