They keep refering to it as a "DVD Encyclopedia". My guess is that it won't be something you sit and watch on your telly but rather a reference for looking things up, like Encarta or Brittanica. And I expect it will include video clips from various "Life" series under the relevant topics.

There is slightly more blurb for it on amazon and although im having trouble reading betweens the lines it does mention life of birds life, life of mammals etc...but also the Tribal Eye? series...

Not sure if they are implying this footage is used or just mentioning Attenboroughs tv past?...
