Just got back and had a great day. Met some great people from all sorts of different backgrounds and tons of different interests. The interviews were really informal and just like having a chat in the pub (except it was a church and so it was only tea and coffee ). Difficult to guage what they'e looking for, because there was such a great mix, but there's only one way to find out

I drove down there and, after feeding the meters all day, I got outside and found my car had been lifted because I'd parked in a suspended bay My pockets are now £260 lighter, but Kensington Council will have to try a lot harder than that to grind this one down

For those who have still yet to go for the interviews, try and get in early for your time slot and you should be able to get through quicker. And for those who haven't applied yet, there's nothing to worry about, it's interesting seeing the early stages of the production and we had a cracking laugh all day

Yep, there were one or two that could have passed for Bill Oddie's twin/triplet. I was in a suit because I was also at work today, but most were wearing casual/smart casual. There was also a very high percentage of very attractive women...if this is the future of wildlife tv then things are looking great

Found this website through the programme though, so that's cool, I've noticed lots of interesting people on here! any one from up north though? I've noticed a lot of southerners hehe.....

I just did a search for 'bbc to the ends of the earth' when I applied to see what I could find out about it, and this thread was in the results....

I like your photos by the way (had a browse of your website)... mushrooms are great. especially the edible ones!!

have you been for an interview yet too? I didn't think I'd got through at first, as I didn't get the London interviews, so was really surprised last week when I found out!!

My interview is next Friday in London- Is the location of the interview decided based on your address given? Do you live closer to Manchester or London?

I presume so, I only live about 15mins from Manchester city centre, and I work up the road from the bbc building! So it will be easy enough getting there!!

Mine is a week tomorrow, I'm really excited, I'm the sort of person who would NEVER want to be on telly haha, but this was too good to miss!
I think a lot of people might be like that, so perhaps it will make interesting tv, to watch whoever gets picked, I'm usually not too keen on these reality shows, but here I am trying to get involved!
