Just noticed this programme on tonight
Pacific Abyss - an exciting new underwater wildlife series. Kate Humble sets sail on a 2000 mile adventure across the Pacific with a team of top natural history filmmakers and deep water marine biologists. Kate dives to some of the most intact shipwrecks left by World War II, while it is one drama after another for the deep dive team in their quest to find new species in the depths.

Did anyone else tune in then ? I think Dan did cos he eventually saw my pm I thought it was a good mix of history and natural history, bit of drama at the end with the impending stormy resurfacing from the 100m dive. Loved seeing deep into the sea and was reminiscing about my scuba diving days with kate. The fish were great but I really hope we get to see other creatures too.......... I'm hoping for extra-giant kraken-like squid

I thought the filming was excellent another great show from the BBC and of course haveing Kate on it made it that much more enjoyable to watch. Looking forward to the next one.

I must admit I hated the narrators "creepy" voice... and got so annoyed I turned over.
