| | | Simon King on Gardeners World Last Night Did anybody see Simon last night?
He was at Berryfields giving advice on how to attract Wildlife putting feeders up full of niger seed to attract Goldfinches and he suggested they put a tree near their very much open pond or some sort of overhanging material so that maybe they would see a kingfisher but not to many as they have Great Crested Newts in the Pond!
I love Gardeners World, not that i have a garden full of prize blooms buts its great to look at everyone elses and you always learn something
GREAT STUFF!! |

| | | Re: Simon King on Gardeners World Last Night Yes! I watched it too. I have yellow flag irises so I'm looking out for the curled up leaves where water spiders nest. That would be great and now I know what to look for.
He really is a top bloke..I could watch him all day |

i like all the gardeners so don't have a particular favourite but for WIT AND WISDOM i think it has to be dear old ALAN and for DROP WHAT YOUR DOING AND GET OUT IN THE GARDEN ENTHUSIASM it has to be CAROL KLEIN
enjoy watchin old GEOF episodes on the UKTV GARDENING CHANNEL though |

He taught me so much, I was so sad when he died. He was so practical and knowledgeable about companion planting and being organic even in those days.. |

| | | Re: Simon King on Gardeners World Last Night Yep, Geoff was great, down to earth and a lovely person. A sad day when he passed away. I like Simon as he is enthusiastic about wildlife and obviously loves his job, the lucky sod.
