I'm sorry I am posting about this after it has been on.
Did anyone see it ?
What an amazing place Southern China is, bats that fish and men who use cormorants to do their fishing for them, they tie their throats up so they don't swallow the fish after they have caught them 
The landscape is awesome

Yes I watched it too. I've been to China several times, the landscape is marvellous.

Absolutly amazing scenery. Some extraordinary animals and plants as well, the bamboo bats, the size of bumble bees are amazing. Another great series from the BBC.

Have really been enjoying this series- seeing so many creatures I've never seen on film before (as well as some very familiar ones like the Great-crested Grebes last night!) + some great landscapes. Yet the TV reviewer in BBC Wildlife was a little sniffy about it being over sanitised + no mention of the huge environmental problems China has.
Given that it was made with the help of Chinese national TV such criticisms would have denied the possibilities of this enlightening series. |

Just recieved my dvd of this which i pre ordered ...can still be got at the vastly cheaper pre order price on some sites
