| | | British Wildlife (publication) Dont we have a books/magazine/media thread? i thought we did?
Anyway...i just wanted to report that i have 'finally' subscribed to, and recieved my first copy of the splendid and yummy and excellent British Wildlife (magazine/journal).
Something i should have done a long time ago...i will now be scouring the internet and ebay for back issues and sets/volumes to complete the set, if anyone has old issues in good condition they might want to sell then always drop me a pm?
Dan

| | | Re: British Wildlife (publication) The Harlequin Ladybird article is interesting in the latest issue-showing it's relentless march northwards through the UK.

| | | Re: British Wildlife (publication) We've been subscribing to it since reading about it in a thread on WAB last year. I thoroughly enjoy reading it - and have found far more of interest in it than in any other wildlife magazine I've tried.
Highly recommended. |

The countryman is also a good monthly, with a more general theme of the countryside. Then of course there is the country file mag.
I now get all three and they keep me going for a whole month. Each one is as good as the other but in different ways.

| | | Re: British Wildlife (publication) Ive been receiving it for a few months now and was lucky enough to get the longhorn beetle I.D. guide, illustrated by Lewington. I was hooked after that, I think they started just before christmas (2007) and it was divided between 2 issues, highly recommended if you can get hold of those. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
