| | | Life in Cold Blood Any Idea When??
Hi,
Wild-woman posted about this series ages ago in the reptile forum, I think.
Saw the advert for it on BBC a couple of days ago saying it is coming soon! Does anybody know exactly when?
I've got all the David Attenborough 'Life' DVD's (and Blue Planet, Planet Earth, etc.) I love them!! Currently re-re-watching Life of Birds each night on my portable DVD player when I go to bed!!
Can't wait for the latest installment for reptiles!!
Cheers

| | | Re: Life in Cold Blood GME. Funny you are watching "life of birds". I met a cameraman who worked on it last night. He shot the footage for the bits about "sand martins" and "greenfinches eating rosehips". He showed me the rushes for his filming.... hours of film condensed in the final show to a few seconds... In fact the greenfinches were filmed in his garden and field nearby, and the sandmartins just up the road from me at a local sand pit.
Can't wait for Life in Cold Blood. Unfortunately I'm away for some of it... so hope it gets put on BBC iplayer. |

| | | Re: Life in Cold Blood Great stuff - thanks for the replies! Can't wait. Roll on the 28th then
And thanks tigger that's really interesting. You always know there must have been hours of filming for seconds of final production viewing but I don't think you ever appreciate just how much. The Snow Leopard film (and indeed the behind the scenes footage on Planet Earth) really showed the patience of wildlife camera people. Days and days of filming for less than a minute slot in the final programme! Lucky that bloke got to film from his own garden then
Thanks again |

| | | Re: Life in Cold Blood Yeah, I've checked ahead on my Sky+ guide and it's not on as mentioned by ron1863 My better half has since informed me that Sir David told Jonathon Ross that it starts Feb 4th. Whatever date it does start I'll be ready with the remote ha!! | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
