| | | Wild thing I love you Title: Wild thing I love you
Channel: Uktv docs
Date: Weekdays
Time: 11.00pm
We watched this for the first time this evening. It was fantastic, they were relocating Adders and lizards to new locations due to a road widerning scheme taking away there habitat. The people envolved had to find a suitable location to put the Adders and lizards, not as easy as it sounds checking they had the right food and habitat. If the rest in the series is as good as this one it is well worth watching. |

| | | Re: Wild thing I love you Is this a repeat? There was a series was shown on Sunday afternoons on Ch 4, I think it was on in 2006. I don't remember a programme on Adders though. It was certainly a good concept for a show and the presenter and professionals all gelled together well.

| | | Re: Wild thing I love you Yes it is a repeat of the CH4 show and UKtv docs are currently showing one episode per day, run several times during the day starting at 11am.
Great show, well worth a watch.

| | | Re: Wild thing I love you It was a very good series. I like Bill Bailey anyway and Dr Sasha Norris was my choice for an "under the mistletoe" moment in the thread that was running before Christmas.
I remember the Adder programme for the look on Bill's face when he was in the back of the car surrounded by bags full of poisonous snakes!
I've got my fingers crossed there might be another series.

| | | Re: Wild thing I love you I fear one day there will be no suitable habitat to move these animals to. I find it all very sad but would have found the programme interesting had I known about it.

| | | Re: Wild thing I love you Thanks for the info I missed it when it was shown on channel 4.It is very sad that creatures of all shapes and sizes are losing there habitats but if it wasn`t for people like this they would starve to death or be killed by the construction work. His face was a picture in the back of the car he looked horrified the whole journey . | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
