| EARTH: The Power of the Planet
Im sure there must already be a thread about this but i cant see it....I just wanted to say a big WOW...how much am i enjoying this 'landmark' (yet again) series from the BBC with Dr Ian Stewart...
Every episode has given me total jaw dropping moments...not just in a visual sense but also in an 'oh my god i cannot believe i didnt know that' sense...although..the overal message with global warming/ climate change/ imminent doom being slightly depressing...amazing cinematography...no overly annoying music....superbly presented by an expert (no titmarsh in sight )...
This is no Nature of britain as its mainly about the forces and elements that "shape the earth".....but its no "British Isles" either....or "Planet Earth" for that matter.....this is the raw materials of our planet...the meat and two veg as it were....
Deffo one for the DVD Christmas list alongside Nature of Britain and all the others i still want...
