| | | Re: Chris Packham - Nature of Britain OMG appologies....why the hell are they not showing it? ...it normally repeats on a sunday after the titmarsh repeat....
How annoying...the best part of the series and this week they only show the titmarsh repeat..is this a one off do you think or are we not getting to the repeat of both shows now?
Sorry to mislead anyone...i have searched through the bbc4 listing but dont see it...if anyone finds it let us know?

| | | Re: Chris Packham - Nature of Britain According to the BBC web site, they are showing the repeat of NoB Users' Guide on BBC4 this coming Sunday (28 Oct) at 7pm - immediately after the Nob repeat on BBC2.
Don't know what happened last Sunday. Probably something important took precedence, like snooker

| | | Re: Chris Packham - Nature of Britain Has Packham deserted Britain for a life in France because he is disillusioned with the state of British wildlife - this was the message I got from the first part of NOB users guide final ( the announcer after the prog said it would be back next week??) episode.
However towards the end of the programme, he presented a far more optimistic outlook with landscape scale conservation management having the potential to achieve higher results overall for biodiversity.
I'm not sure exactly what to make of the programme, it was almost as if the first part of the programme offered no hope. Would Packham return to live in Britain if the lanscape scale conservation ever really gets underway. Such schemes might be able to be applied in parts of Wales but how could it be applied to the crammed south? |

| | | Re: Chris Packham - Nature of Britain I was stunned when he said he'd gone to live in France - I expected him to say it was all a 'Wind up' before the end of the show, but he didn't. A very thought-provoking programme. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
