| | | Re: 100 years of Wildlife Films Watching it now,my goodness those early filmmakers really were dedicated,
not to detract from todays filmmakers, but the forerunners really had to work hard

| | | Re: 100 years of Wildlife Films Was a good program. The early american programmes cracked me up. They way it was over the top and that most of the animals appeared to get shot was un believable! Nearly as shocking was the way the americans advertised the trials of life - uncut bloody nature! lol |

| | | Re: 100 years of Wildlife Films I saw it too .... well all but the last 15 minutes which I recorded as I turned over to watch Match of the Day.
It was amazing to see how far technology, technique and attitude have changed over the last 100 years or so.

| | | Re: 100 years of Wildlife Films The programme brought back some lovely memories - Animal Magic with Johnny Morris, which I had completely forgotten about, god it didn't half look dated.
It did highlight the changes in attitude towards wildlife over the years. In the early years the American couple were killing animals just to get a good shot for the camera. |
