Just seen an advert on ITV for a new weekly magazine called Wildlife of Britain so thought I would share it here for the non-tv watchers

1st issue is 99p, thereafter it's £1.99. You can subscribe directly via their website/telephone and there is a choice of free gift if you do subscribe.

Oh purple one......bless

I started a thread about this a week or two back and got battered with a dirty stick about the mag ( i thought it looked ok though)

then another thread just started called wildlife of britian about the mag again...


and now yours...

In my opinion i dont think the mags that bad..ok so its pre printed and wont have current news of wildlife matters etc....but its exactly a mag like this i collected as a kid "Country Companion" that taught me a hell of a lot and got me where i am today ( A skint mature degree student living back with my mum) so dont knock it ! tee hee...

And....everyone could do with a free pair of cheap binoculars or a nest box !

Hello Purple Pixii!

If I'm not mistaken, this is a publication that is released in weekly parts which builds into a collection over time. It is released every few years.

Assuming it is the same one, I can remember my little brother collecting this about 15-20 years ago. He's a lot bigger now, but still has the collection on his bookshelf!
