Many of us watched the series and there were many discussions and threads regarding it on these baords.

Are they repeating it then?

Dan

Yes they must be Dan, i have seen most of them before, but there still great, and how he loves his wildlife and animals especially Bambi his 3 legged pet Deer, who he has had since she was a fawn, right up till the end when he finally had her put to sleep as she had bad arthritus, and was in great pain, i had tears in my eyes when that was done.

Re: Johnny Kingdom

Hi all, my next door neighbour grew up with Johnny Kingdom - how cool's that! She said he was as enthusiastic when he was young - and always getting into trouble. That episode with the Wild Boar and the Fox cubs was a.m.a.z.i.n.g!

Re: Johnny Kingdom

I think the guy is a legend! The Wild Boar episode had me in tears of laughter! So enthusiastic and committed, he the kind of guy you know would be doing it even if the tv cameras weren't there. Wish I lived closer so I could spend some time out in the field filming with him, bet that would be a day to remember.

Re: Johnny Kingdom

i agree - i think it's just the man's enthusiasm and the way he can communicate what it means to him in simple terms. I am often a bit fussy about wildlife program presenters, but have to say he's on my good list !

Re: Johnny Kingdom

I've always enjoyed watching his programmes too He's just so genuine and enthusiastic about everything he sees.
One wildlife site I used to be a member of was full of 'programme snobs' - anyone other than David Attenborough was just not good enough

Re: Johnny Kingdom

Johnny makes good T.V. as he comes across as a likable rogue, which he once was. I think that poachers are some of the most knowledgeable naturalists around and it's good to see that Johnny has put his knowledge and wildlife experiences to good use
