Tree ID please...

We have this tree growing amongst ash and oak, probably about 30 years old if anyone can ID please. The growth habit and bark is very similar to ash but it clearly isn't. I thought it might be some sort of elm but really have no idea. Could do with a positive ID please. Thanks.

Hi Crumble. Your tree looks like a Sweedish Whitebeam - Sorbus intermedia, widely planted in parks and on roadsides.

Thanks Dorts. I'll try and remember to post a photo of the trunk to make sure if that's ok.

There's also no berries on it, despite all the rowans having fruit on. Does it fruit later ?

It should have some noticable berries by now. They are a light browny-orange when ripe. Yes they are often later than Rowan.

I'll take a better look tomorrow and maybe grab some more photos. It stands out because it's alone amongst oak, ash, blackthorn, etc but looks to all intents and purposes like an ash. Thanks for taking the time Dorts.
