The ash around here are now bare of pods. | It's very variable - sometimes the pods hang on till the new ones develop. Must be something to do with the weather, I think, but despite the winds some of my Ash still have plenty left, though some have none, and never did this autumn/winter.

I had a look in my Collins tree book this morning and it indicated the bark was rough, slightly furrowed and a darker colour for a common ash which doesnt seem to be the case here. I dont think it is a weeping ash either. |

I dont think it is a weeping ash either. | My Ash trees have smooth grey bark - I think furrows may develop with greater age. Definitely not a Weeping Ash. Yours look like Common Ash to me.
