| | | Re: Help with Tree ID please 1 - cut leaved rowan
2 - possibly a walnut. Ash should have more serrated leaves I think. Black buds would be the giveaway. Peach-coloured bark maybe?
3 - I want to say wych elm, but the bottom of the leaf should be non-symetrical, maybe look at all the other leaves and see if this is the case, as only one leaf is clear. Otherwise, hornbeam?
4 - downy birch. To be sure, was the bark white/silvery?
5 - some sort of crab apple? maybe wild cherry.
I don't think that many of them are right though. |

| | | Re: Help with Tree ID please Thanks both for your replies ... it looks like ...
1 - is cut leaved rowan,
2 - pos ash - all leaves no buds which is a shame
3 - I worked it out to be wild cherry (2 red blobs on leaf stalk)
4 - downy birch - but looks so differnet to any other birch I look at! Leave very sharply angled away from leaf stalk.
5 - I will investigate as crab apple
Cheers
