| | | Virus? I came across a tree in my local park yesterday, common lime I think, and it had the strangest brown tooth-like projections on the leaves.
I have the (now shrivelled!) leaf in front of me, the "teeth" are evenly spread over the surface of the leaf, each projection is about 5mm in length protruding at right angles from the leaf surface, mostly in between the veins. This leaf has 29 teeth.
Is it a virus of some kind? |
