| | | Fruit tree but what kind ? Hi,I've grown this from something I found next to my compost bin ,It looked like the centre of a fruit stone with a shoot growing from it.I guess it's probably plum, peach or nectarine those being what we would have eaten.
I've put it out every summer and kept it in the greenhouse every winter for about 4 years, this year it's flowering for the first time.I've used a feather to try to pollinate it because it's still too cold to put it out.
I know I can rely on someone telling me what I've got .
Thanks Barbara. |

Looks like I have a peach tree then.I'm going to have to keep it well pruned so that it can fit in the greenhouse for the winters and go out in the garden to enjoy the Welsh sunshine in the summer.Am I likely to get any fruit on it ?I usually put it against the hedge so that it's sheltered and it faces west and gets the afternoon sun.
Thank you for your help
