| | | Re: hawthorn bushes, where can i buy some ? Ashridge Trees have packs of 50 plants for hedging - these will mature fairly quickly into Hawthorn trees - for £26.13 Quickthorn / Hawthorn Hedge Packs - 50 Whips or Bushes - Wholesale
There are many sites selling quickthorns for hedging, bare rooted stock is the cheapest way to get these plants other than grub out natural seedlings from a friendly landowner's wood edge. |

| | | Re: hawthorn bushes, where can i buy some ? A staggered double planting will give a thick hedge planted about 10" apart or more. Soak the whips for a couple of days prior to planting,or heel in until required. I found I got more shoots when planting at an angle after forgetting some heeled in whips.
