| | | Tree id please Hi
I came across a strange to me tree on public land in the centre of Bingley, W Yorks the other day. The leaves are similar to sweet chestnut but smaller and narrower. But it was the fruit that got me thinking, conker sized shell with wrinkly conker inside. NB conker casing has no spikes.
Any ideas? It is not often I come across a tree and have no real idea of what it is. Paul |

| | | Re: Tree id please Hello, Aesculus pavia - Red buckeye. The wrinkly conker is just because it's old.
