| | | Which Willow please? I think this is a Willow and these are the male catkins, but I'm uncertain which willow.
Catkins and leaves have much silky hair and the closest I find to that is in the White Willow, Salix alba - anyone agree? I think I should have examined the undersides of leaves too. The tree is on the bank of the River Yar near Sandown.
