| | | Re: National Tree Week thanks henrya,I have been plugging planting in the conservation forum,
I will be trying to shoe-horn in either a field maple or another birch,I have a small garden with a Rowan, Weeping-Birch,John Downy apple,Dragons claw Willow,Morello cherry plus a hedge of alder, hawthorn, dogwood and hazel and a few other bits that have squeezed in but the trees bring in insects which bring in birds and bats and look good with their dappled shade trees make a proper garden which benefits wildlife and people (but do not forget a pond or small pool of water) just look at your garden in a different way a single tree or shrub will make a difference
If you are not sure ask ,go on make a difference |

| | | Re: National Tree Week /planting I've no room yet for more trees on my patch - need to do some clearance work. And the Rooks will get upset if I cut their trees down!
