| | | Tree photos required please. I am doing a forestry course and I need to make an I.D. chart. I feel I must include the Horse Chestnut tree. Has anyone got any photos of the flowers that I can use as I can't wait until spring?
It would also be helpful if anyone had photos of the flowers and fruit of Aesculus x carnea Hayne. I think I have got that one right. (I am talking about the one with the pink flowers and spineless fruit.)
Thank you |

Here's a photo of Red Horse-chestnut, Aesculus x carnea, in flower; this one I'd already posted in my diary thread.
I do have a few decent photos of both species in flower, I'll post them as soon as I get chance to re-size them for the Gallery. |
